We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled mechanical fitters. You will be working in technical, industrial environments where mechanical craftsmanship is essential for the continuity of production processes
What will you be doing?
As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and optimising mechanical installations and machinery. You will ensure that the mechanical aspects of the process continue to function reliably and take swift action in the event of malfunctions.
Your duties will include:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical engineering installations.
- Solving mechanical failures on machines and production lines.
- Assembly, disassembly and overhaul of components such as pumps, bearings, drives and conveyors.
- Performing inspections and identifying wear and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on modifications and technical improvements.
- Working within sectors such as (process) industry, food, chemicals, recycling and paper industry.
You will work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project and the client.
What will you bring?
- An MBO degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical training.
- Experience as a W mechanic / Mechanical Engineer within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and failure analysis.
- In possession of VCA or willing to obtain it.
- Driving license B and a good command of the Dutch language.
- A practical, meticulous and solution-oriented approach to work.
What do we offer you?
- A salary between €3000 and €4500 appropriate to your experience.
- 25 leave days and 13 ATV days according to Collective Labour Agreement Metal & Engineering.
- Pension accrual with PMT.
- Travel allowance of 0.23 cents per kilometre.
